Celebrating surfing with high quality, durable and affordable surfboards.

Since 1992 BIC Surfboards have celebrated the surfing experience by making it accessible through their selection of high quality, durable and affordable surfboards. Our goal is to share the thrill of surfing by providing outstanding surfboards that perform in a wide range of conditions for a broad spectrum of surfers.

“Honour the Past, Invent the Future”.

The past 15 years have seen BIC Surf develop boards that suit all surfers – from the seasoned professional who demands rigorous perfection, through to the complete beginner who requires stability and ease of paddling. Today BIC is the largest producer of surfboards under one brand.

As we continue to develop and create our range, we are determined to always keep YOU, the surfer in mind.

Each BIC Surfboard design arises from a prototype created by one of our highly experienced and talented shapers. While inspiration for a new model may strike a shaper in a moment, our rigorous adherence to quality means that there are many months of testing before the final, perfect shape is determined. Our crew of surfers may trial sample models for months through this critical testing phase, constantly providing the design team with feedback, before the agreement on the final shape is achieved.

Ensuring that our boards will perform as intended is one of the reasons why they have achieved a global reputation.

For girls only !

Dedicated to surfer girls, this year’s collection of ACS Wahine surfboards reflects the glorious fact that even more girls are getting into surfing.

Based on the same shapes as many of the top selling BIC SURFBOARDS the Wahine collection comes in 5’10’’, 6’7’’, 7’3’’, 7’9’’ and 8’4’’ sizes and is suited to all levels of women’s recreational surfing. The Wahine are customized with a unique girls fl avour while retaining the all important technical aspects that have made these boards so popular with female surfers.

A great choice for girls getting into surfing with sufficient volume making surfing as easy as possible, while being light and manoeuverable enough for transportation, carrying and of course catching waves.

The Wahine collection is being produced in a Limited Series which adds to the board’s value and exclusivity.

New to the range this year, the ACS PAD series takes all the benefi ts of the ACS’ s great shapes with unbeatable durability and couples it with a Segmented EVA deck pad. Meaning there is now no need for wax,

ensuring the board stays clean for longer while providing unbeatable traction and a great indicator of where to stand on the board. A great option for surf schools and any surfer that wants to spend more time surfing and less time waxing.

Get into Stand Up Paddle

Whether it’s for riding a fl at glassy or for surfi ng the big waves, Stand Up is the latest new surf sensation, and one you can learn very quickly. On a Stand Up, you’re standing high on the water, meaning you can spot and get on many more waves than a classic surfer lying down on his board.

The Jungle has been designed to give you maximum fun in waves and on fl at calm water. Its shape is an excellent compromise between manoeuvrability and stability.

Big volume gives you quick take off, even on the smallest waves. Its very surf influenced shape, with a big rear kick and accentuated lift, means it’s got excellent manoeuvrability for its size. With its limited width, paddling is easy no matter your size.

Instant fun and easy for everyone!

The last 5 years has seen many changes in surfboard manufacturing. No longer is a regular polyester foam and fi breglass regarded as the only way to make a board.

Nowadays surfers are able to enjoy a much wider variety of new and innovative methods of surfboard construction that provide much improved durability without extra weight. BIC Sport has been at the forefront of epoxy technology for more than 10 years, longer than any other surfboard manufacturer and was the first to develop a full range of epoxy composite surfboards.

BIC Sport’s E-Comp (Epoxy Composite) construction technique produces a board that is approximately 30% more durable while being almost identical with regard to stiffness and weight when compared to a similar polyester constructed surfboard. To accommodate the needs of more advanced surfers, E-Comp surfboards provide shapes that not only suit the intermediate surfer, but also experienced riders who know how to ride a surfboard.
